The famous characters of this highly popular series that populate planets like Naboo, Tatooine, Hoth, Endor and Christophsis join in a series of LEGO® built scenes, producing a thrilling experience and a great new addition to the already trendy LEGOLAND® Malaysia. Not only will fans of the movies and series based on Star Wars™ be amazed, but also anyone who loves detailed LEGO® models will enjoy this encounter.

When does the LEGO® Star Wars™ LEGOLAND® MINILAND open?
The LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort will unveil the new attraction on September 6th, 2014 in conjunction with the resort’s second anniversary. The massive project took months to build and more than 1.5 million pieces of LEGO® bricks were used in the construction. It’s hard to believe that the LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort with its hotel, theme and water park is only two years old, considering the reputation it has built in such a short time. And the new imaginative and innovative LEGO® Star Wars™ MINILAND construction is a fitting part of its anniversary celebration.

The new attraction is located in the heart of the LEGOLAND® Malaysia Theme Park and housed in a special standalone air-conditioned octagon building. It is the first indoor-attraction of this kind in Asia, displaying recreations of seven scenes from the movies and animated television series. LEGOLAND Malaysia is just a short drive from Johor Bahru, Malaysia and from Singapore, either by private car or by using the convenient shuttle service.
The new attraction is located in the heart of the LEGOLAND® Malaysia Theme Park and housed in a special standalone air-conditioned octagon building. The huge undertaking took nearly 8,000 man-hours to create the 1,122 models, using over 1.5 million LEGO® bricks. The largest of the Star Wars™ Models in this attraction is the 2.5m tall Crystal Building, inspired by a scene from Star Wars: The Clone Wars™.

What sights can fans look forward to spotting?
The LEGO® Star Wars™ MINILAND at LEGOLAND® Malaysia Resort will have many fan favorites from scenes I to VI and include also scenes from the Star Wars: The Clone Wars™.

One of the outstanding scenes is from Episode IV: A New Hope™ where visitors will see a replica of the Millennium Falcon, which took 143 hours to build due to its complex design. The ship is made of 15,000 real LEGO® bricks, and the entire scene features a total of 126 models and weighs 130kg, making it the heaviest of all scenes.
Another complex vehicle is the massive Clone Turbo Tank from Episode III: Revenge of the Sith™. Featuring 152 remarkable models that include 30 Wookiees, 30 Scout Troopers, 40 Battle Droids and 15 Dwarf Spiders.
Other interesting sights include the many models of much adored characters such as R2-D2, C-3PO, Darth Vader, Darth Maul and many more. The smallest of these character models is Yoda, the frail but feisty character from the movies was constructed with only 30 LEGO® bricks. He can be spotted twice in the trip through this LEGO® Star Wars™ MINILAND.

There is a retail store located within the LEGO® Star Wars™ Miniland complex for all those who are inspired to build their own Star Wars™ Lego® projects after the visit. Of course, all rides and attraction will be open at the LEGOLAND® Theme Park, as well as at the adjacent LEGOLAND Water Park. As the new Star Wars™ attraction is located in the heart of the theme park, visitors can either proceed directly to the newest attraction or start their experience from the beginning until they arrive naturally at the LEGOLAND Star Wars™ MINILAND.
Of course, all rides and attraction will be open at the LEGOLAND® Theme Park, as well as at the adjacent LEGOLAND Water Park. As the new Star Wars™ attraction is located in the heart of the theme park, visitors can either proceed directly to the newest attraction or start their experience from the beginning until they arrive naturally at the LEGOLAND Star Wars™ MINILAND.
